Anyone know the title of this MS DOS game from the 90's [[i think]]

I've been trying to get the name of this game for YEARS. All we have is clues and shady memories because we were young when we played it. Here's what we got:

At the beginning of the game, the character you play [[herein, "You"]] start out on a ship, like pirate ship,in the sky. You try reaching in the treasure chest and you get snapped by a mouse trap. Ouch. So to get to land you pull a Merry Poppins and float to the surface on an umbrella. Somewhere along the line, you pick up a green side-kick guy who looks like gonzo [[from "The Muppet Show"]] and dresses in a sailor suit. Next memory, you go to a cave man village of some sort knock some cavemen down with golf clubs and pepper. Everything else about this section of the game is too vague to recall.... You get eaten by a big bad wolf. You light a match, and see your own grave. You get a scythe in this part of the game. You have to capture spirits from the wolf's other unfortunate snacks. The spirits look kinda like squiggly floating chalk lines, to me. From here on, I can't remember much more than just flashes. A little blue mouse or perhaps a bird, giants, and some golf thing with a [[I think, golden]] golf club. Hoping someone knows what game I%2
