It seems that, contrary to the flops numbers given by Sony, the XBox 360's CPU may be substantially faster than the PS3's Cell processor.
Nintendo reported flat revenue figures for the fiscal year that ended in March. Given fairly hot sales of the Nintendo DS, it would appear that the GameCube and GameCube games are doing poorly, indeed. I wouldn't expect to see many new titles in development from any of the major publishers from here on out:

Well, here's some bad news. It seems Spong has been able to confirm that the XBox 360 will not be backwards-compatible with the XBox. It won't even include a software-based emulator:

Genesis fans will be glad to hear that SEGA and Treasure have announced "Gunstar Super Heroes", sequel to "Gunstar Heroes" for the Game Boy Advance, due out in the fall of 2005.
It would seem that Microsoft really has opted for the "XBox 360" name... So my condolences to the folks at MS. Maybe they'll find a better name for the next generation.
